Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use the Latty Studio website or hire us. Using the site or our services means you agree to them.

1. Services

We provide website design and development, branding, app design, search services, AI tool setup, and digital strategy. Your project proposal defines the work included. We agree on it before work begins.

2. Quotes & Pricing

• All quotes are fixed-price unless otherwise stated.
• A quote is valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
• Prices are shown in US dollars or British pounds, as labeled. Your invoice specifies the agreed billing currency.
• Additional work requires a written agreement and may change the price or delivery date.
• We'll explain any changes to the work and cost before proceeding.

3. Payment

• Your proposal sets the payment schedule. Standard arrangements are 50% upfront and 50% on completion, or monthly installments.
• Work does not begin until the initial payment is received.
• We release the final project files once the final payment clears.
• Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly interest charge on overdue balances.

4. Revisions

Your proposal lists the feedback rounds included in each stage. Extra rounds are billed at our standard hourly rate, which we'll confirm before you approve the extra work. Please send your team's feedback together in one list for each round.

5. Timelines

We'll follow the schedule in your proposal. It depends on receiving your content and feedback by the agreed dates. If these are late, the schedule will move accordingly. Those delays are not a breach of our agreement.

6. Ownership of the Work

• Once you've paid in full, you own the final logos, design files, and custom code created specifically for your project.
• We may show completed work in our portfolio and marketing unless we agree otherwise in writing.
• Stock images, fonts, and plugins remain subject to their own licenses. You're responsible for keeping any required licenses current.
• Work not paid for in full remains the property of Latty Studio.

7. Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate project information and materials by the agreed dates.
• Make sure you have permission to use any text, images, and logos you supply.
• Choose one person to coordinate feedback and approvals.
• Review and approve the work within the agreed time.

8. Confidentiality

We keep your business information and project details confidential. We only share them with your permission, when the law requires it, or when needed to deliver the agreed work, such as setting up hosting.

9. Warranties & Disclaimers

• We warrant that work will be completed with reasonable skill and care.
• We don't guarantee increases in revenue, particular search rankings, or other business results. These depend on factors outside our control.
• After delivery, the website's performance also depends on your hosting and any external services it uses.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Latty Studio's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the total fees paid by you for the specific project in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.

11. Termination

Either party can end a project with 14 days' written notice. You must pay for work completed up to the end date. Deposits are non-refundable once work has started.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. We'll first try to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussion. If that fails, the dispute will go to binding arbitration or a court with jurisdiction.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our site or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
