Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Latty Studio website and any services we provide. By engaging with us or using this site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.

1. Services

Latty Studio provides web design, website redesign, brand identity, UI/UX design, SEO, GEO, AIO, and digital strategy services. The specific scope of any engagement is defined in a separate project brief or proposal agreed upon before work begins.

2. Quotes & Pricing

All quotes are fixed-price unless otherwise stated. A quote is valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices are shown in USD with GBP equivalents; the agreed billing currency will be specified in your invoice.

Work outside the agreed scope requires a change order and may affect cost and timeline. We'll always flag scope changes before proceeding — no surprise invoices.

3. Payment

• Payment terms are specified in each project proposal.
• Standard arrangements are 50% upfront / 50% on completion, or monthly instalments.
• Work does not begin until the initial payment is received.
• Final deliverables are not released until the final payment is cleared.
• Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly interest charge on overdue balances.

4. Revisions

Each project phase includes a defined number of revision rounds as outlined in the proposal. Additional revisions beyond the agreed rounds are billed at our standard hourly rate. Revisions must be submitted in a single consolidated round of feedback, not incrementally.

5. Timelines

We commit to the timeline outlined in your project proposal. Timelines depend on prompt feedback and content delivery from the client. Delays caused by late feedback or missing content will extend the project timeline accordingly, without constituting a breach on our part.

6. Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, the client owns all final deliverables produced specifically for their project (logos, design files, custom code).

We retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio and for self-promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing. Third-party assets (stock imagery, fonts, plugins) are subject to their respective licences and are the client's responsibility to maintain.

Work not paid for in full remains the property of Latty Studio.

7. Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, complete project briefs and materials in a timely manner.
• Ensure you have the rights to any content you supply (text, images, logos).
• Designate a single point of contact for feedback and approvals.
• Review and approve deliverables within the agreed timeframe.

8. Confidentiality

We treat all client information, project details, and business data as confidential. We will not disclose your information to third parties without your consent, except where required by law or necessary to deliver the agreed services (e.g. hosting providers).

9. Warranties & Disclaimers

We warrant that work will be completed with reasonable skill and care. We do not guarantee specific business outcomes (e.g. revenue growth, search ranking positions) as these depend on factors outside our control. The website is provided "as built" — ongoing technical performance depends on your hosting environment and third-party services.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Latty Studio's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the total fees paid by you for the specific project in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate a project engagement with 14 days' written notice. In the event of termination, the client is responsible for payment of all work completed up to the termination date. Any deposits paid are non-refundable once work has commenced.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation in the first instance. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration or the jurisdiction of the applicable courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our site or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
